I recently visited 88baobao in Frisco, having previously dined at their locations in the Dublin Bay Area. I was thrilled to find the same excellent experience here as well. The restaurant's decor is truly unique. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff making sure we felt welcomed and attended to, which is always a pleasant surprise. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious--just as I remembered from their other locations. Our whole family loved it and left feeling very happy. 88baobao is definitely a fantastic spot for family gatherings. Highly recommend!

The food came out quickly! Service was great and fast because you order at the front. The place was clean and open, but for some reason, people kept sitting at the tables next to us that were open.

Hit up 88 Baobao this weekend while visiting friends in Frisco and decided to try out their xiao long bao and dumplings! Overall, the vibe was cool, and the prices were pretty good. What we got: Xiao Long Bao: Really tasty and freshly made. Just wish they had that killer soy vinegar sauce and some ginger to go with it. The sauce on the table just weren't cutting it. Pork and Cabbage Dumplings: Loved the filling and the crispy edges but the plate was so big it made the portion look tiny! They should totally serve these on a smaller plate to make it look more filling. Beef Roll: Super flavorful but kind of greasy. A little less oil and it would have been perfect! Even though there were a few misses, I'd totally go back next time I'm in Frisco. Can we get more noodle spots in DFW, please?

We ordered takeout here on a Sunday and absolutely loved it! The restaurant was packed, so I'm glad I ordered online. The food was ready right on time too when I arrived. This place has a huge menu, so I plan to come back and try a lot more. We spent close to $100 including tip, which sounds like a lot for 5 people. However, with the portions it was at least 8-10 servings of food. Really excellent value!! Dumplings of course are always best when eaten fresh at the restaurant, but these traveled really well. I also really loved the unique flavor of the veggie dumplings. I think they might have had seaweed? Usually I avoid veggie dumplings because they just taste like edamame and nothing else really. These were excellent. The veggie bao bun had the same filling, so next time we won't order both. The restaurant itself isn't too big, but it's very nice on the inside and clean!

A quick and delicious place for Chinese food. When you enter you order at the counter and then find open seating. There is a menu with dry erase marker to tally your order. Our table ordered a variety of different dishes to enjoy together family style. It was actually so much food there was hardly any room on the table! The prices are very fair and the food was so good!

Dropped by to try the food. Really nice staff and food was pretty good. Ordered the soup dumplings 4/5, golden fried bun w/ condensed milk 5/5, chicken fried rice 3/5 kinda bland, hand pulled noodles 3/5, stir fried chicken w/ jalapeño 4/5 and stir fried string beans 5/5. If you live in north Frisco, give this place a try. Good quality Chinese food.

YUM. This place blows it out of the water on quality! We drove an hour to get here so I'm glad it was worth it. The layout is open and has a great amount of seating. They have some little lantern lights and decorations on the wall that make it look nice. The food here is really good. Everything we ordered was on par. I think everything starts with how cohesive the team is. It seems like the workers enjoy it here. We were able to see them take their lunch together. They worked fast to get food to the table without sacrificing quality. Kudos! We ordered two orders of pork soup dumplings*, one crab and pork soup dumpling*, vegetable and pork pan fried dumplings, and wonton with chili oil. I was also able to try the popcorn chicken*, hand pulled noodles*, and char siu bao*. Something I noticed about this 88 Baobao's soup dumplings is that they're sturdier than most! Most places will pop right as you try to take it off the paper, but only a couple popped after we had left them there for a while. It's nice they can contain their soup making it worth your money! Top items from what we ordered are marked with an asterisk*. The vegetable and pork pan fried dumplings could have been a little bit more crispy (comparing to a different location I went to). Other things I'd like to try on the menu would be beef rolls and the golden fried buns with condensed milk. Highly recommend everyone to try this place, we'll be back again!

88 Baobao was superb when we visited! It's a fast casual style restaurant, you order at the counter and they bring food to your table. Don't worry because the quality of dishes is amazing. Plus the service is super quick. The pork xiao long baos came out hot and steamy. They were super juicy and tasty. The hand pulled noodles were amazing; super chewy and just the right amount of spice. Favorite was the beef rolls, they were fried crispy and the sweet sauce was so good. This is down right one of the best place for Chinese food. Must try if you haven't yet!

I was eagerly anticipating my lunch visit at 88 Baobao, and my expectations were definitely met! The restaurant itself is spacious and cozy at the same time, the seats are super comfortable, and service is incredible. The cashier who took our order was very kind, excited, and had extremely in depth knowledge about the food offerings. You get a menu with check boxes you can write on with a marker, and go up to order and pay once you're ready. I got the hand pulled noodles - they were SO GOOD! They come with green onion, lots of garlic, chili, and oil. I could've eaten 5 bowls of them..... I also got the fried vegetable dumplings which were pretty good, but they only had mushroom and a leafy green inside I believe. I left full and think you get a large portion of food for your $$$. I would definitely return and try some new items (but will still order the noodles!).
